The beauty of trailer bikes is simple. As we all know, kids can tire out quite fast on bike rides and sometimes even refuse to ride any further which can be quite a problem if you're far from your car or home. Or if you are a riding family, but have a younger one who isn't yet up to it. So this brilliant idea was born, attaching a little "half bike" to the back of your own bike. On a trailer bike, your child can help you pedal, or can stop pedalling completely and let (make) you do all the work! It also means that you are in control of the bike, steering it and stopping, so there's no need to be nervous. It's a great way to build a child's confidence in riding and makes for a wonderful family excursion without the stress!

The Shifter 7spd trailer has a clever folding design to make it easy to store in the boot of your car, the laundry, or the garage. It is a 24" trailer bike which makes it more appropriate for older kids - between 7 & 10 yrs old. This trailer bike also allows the child to help with changing gears which means they start to get the hang of gears before they have to go off alone on their own bike. There is a handlebar pad and safety flag as a permanent attachment for added safety.
