XDS Carbon-Tech is one of the most reputable carbon fibre bicycle manufacturers in China. Located in Shenzen Provence, XDS has a very large production facility with a capacity of 4,000 frames per month, supplying frames to many other brands who then paint and brand them as their own. Sensible really, as the cost and expertise required if each company actually produced their own frames would be staggering.
XDS products are certified by TUV Nord (short for Technischer Überwachungs-Verein, Technical Inspection Association in English) a German organization that works to validate the safety of products of all kinds to protect humans and the environment against hazards. As independent consultants, they examine plants, motor vehicles, energy installations, devices and products (e.g. consumer goods) which require monitoring. XDS carbon frames are of the highest quality even if relatively unknown under their own brand name.
Aware of their quality and impressed with their value for money, we have decided to add the brand (undisguised) to our range to offer a further alternative to our very wide customer base.
