GT Laguna 24 inch Girls Mountain Bike.

As with all GT bikes the GT Laguna 24" mountain bike is well thought out with the type of features that will appeal to the young girl in your life.

For a start the bike looks outstanding, whether you prefer the white with aqua and purple, or the black with flouro pink. The alloy frame is light and rust proof, while the front suspension will ensure a soft comfortable ride whatever the terrain.

The 21 Speed Shimano gearing system provides ample range for the rider whether its climbing hills or tearing along the flat bike paths.

What sets the GT apart from the others is the sizing, as it is slightly larger than most of the other 24 inch girls bikes on offer. This can be a disadvantage if your daughter is just 7 or on the smaller side, but if she is 8 or 9 the larger bike will last another year or two.

If you think the smaller, easier to use bike might be better check out the Giant Areva Street 24 at $299.
