Product Information
Giant Alias Mountain Bike.
The Giant Alias represents the absolute best value package that you will find in the market. Would you like a mountain bike that has heaps of the best features, like hydraulic disc brakes, suspension that you can lock-out, gears that change properly and a frame that you can stand over even when you get caught trying to go up a hill too steep or down a track too difficult to negotiate. While it is far from the best available, it has the features most people would like on an off-road mountain bike, but often can't afford. The low frame design not only looks great, but allows errors of magnitude without too much embarrassment. It really does allow you to attempt going into terrain that would be extremely difficult on a conventional design frame (straight top tube). Remember those times you didn't quite manage to climb that cliff and ended up left figuring out how to get back down. The hydraulic disc brakes are a pleasure to use, and really stop very effectively using only one or two fingers, leaving the rest to hang on to the bars, maybe even change gears at the same time. The Deore gears and cranks help to ensure that it will change gears accurately, even when under extreme conditions (like coming around that blind corner and finding you are immediately faced with a steep incline and just have to change down or get off).
Normally a mountain bike of this standard is around $1300, so the current price allows you to get a lot more enjoyment for your money while this special lasts. If you are wanting to try some of the more challenging tracks when off-road riding, or would simply like a nicer bike to ride, these are great. Come in and test ride one before they all go.
Available in XS, & Small only at the extra special price of $899.
If you require an M or L look at the GT Avalanche 1.0 which is a similar bike in quality currently selling at $799 (was $1199) or the Silverback Dakota at $899 (was $1299)
