Meet Our Staff

	Ken Owner and Manager Over the past 28 years Ken has expanded Ivanhoe Cycles from a small one man shop selling the basics, into today's much larger version selling many of the worlds renown brands, employing 25 staff and becoming one of the biggest retailers of Giant bicycles in Australia. In late 2009 Ken expanded his interests opening a second store, Bicycle HQ in Carnegie. Ken still rides fairly regularly on either his trusty Giant Perigee from a few years ago or his new Colnago Road bike.
	Kaye Manager Kaye has over 20 years of bike shop experience and many thousands of touring kilometres to draw upon when offering advice, having toured extensively throughout Australia and various European and Asian countries. Kaye has a number of bikes and regularly rides a Giant Anthem 29er, a Cannondale tourer and a Giant Avail Advanced road bike. Kaye also has a Dura Ace equipped full carbon Olmo road bike for those special days.
	Greg Manager Greg was a competitive cyclist for over 30 years and is a very experienced mechanic having worked with Professional teams and the AIS. Greg has worked in the bike Industry for 25 years and has written in Bicycling Australia Magazine for the past 19 years and for the past 7 years has worked as a tour guide at the Tour de France. Greg is often away from the shop, working at various cycling events in his role as a commissaire for the UCI, Cycling Australia or Cycling Victoria. Greg has a number of bikes and regularly rides his Record equipped Wilier carbon bike, or his Trance 2 duallie.
	Russ Workshop Manager With years of workshop experience and currently active in MTB scene, Russ has great knowledge and ability with all modern bikes features including hydraulic brakes and suspension forks. Russ's day to day ride is a steel Surly tourer , but as with most bike shop staff he has a fleet of others, including a Unicycle "just for fun".

	Michael Workshop and store assistant, Michael has built a wealth of knowledge since arriving at the store a few years ago and is able to repair most things mechanical. Rides a Giant Anthem 0 and is tossing up on which route to take with a road bike...lush Italian or sensible Taiwanese??
	Keelan Sales Another former full time employee, now working part time due to University studies. Keelan has had a few road races and now has a broad knowledge of cycling due to previous experience with mountain bikes. Keelan now has a touring bike in his collection after an extended Asian touring trip and also rides a Giant Anthem 0 MTB, a Giant TCR Advanced roady, and a "not worth stealing" Uni. bike.
