The KeoClassic was developed with the goal of minimizing the weight and volume of the cleat/pedal unit, while remaining compatible with all the shoes on the market.Shoe engagement and disengagement with the pedal remains safe and very efficient
.LARGE PEDAL PLATFORM AREA The platform area of Keo Classic allows excellent stability on the pedal as well as a efficient power transmission.WEIGHT: 135g Although heavier than Keo 2 Max, the Keo Classic is still very light weight
.DOUBLE BEARING STEEL AXLE PROFILE The axle profile is composed of 1 roller bearing (10 mm inside x 19 mm outside) that supports the axial loads and a needle bearing that supports the radial loads.LOOK axles are only validated for production after a rotational test of 1 million cycles at 100 rpm with a load of 90kg on the centre of the pedal and an off-centre rotation (whichcreates a shock at each rotation). This test is more stringent than the most severe standard currently enforced: EN104781.
MULTITENSOR 8-12 Nm. The adjustable spring tension range allows any user, even a beginner to find the adjustment that suits his or her cycling ability and comfort. A good all round pedal for regular recreational riders who are on the bike a few days a week.
