Shimano R540 Road Racing Pedals.

The Shimano R540 clipless road pedal comes as standard equipment on many road bikes these days. It is a reliable, relatively inexpensive, but good quality pedal. If you simply want a good value for money pedal that will be reliable, this is it! The 540 pedal shares the same cleat as the more expensive pedals in the Shimano range and so too many of the features, including wide pedal platform for foot-pedal stability. Adjustable cleat tension with indicators. Standard inclusion of yellow floating cleats. Low profile for improved cornering clearance.
The 540 pedals feature a low maintenance sealed cartridge axle unit, and are available in either black or silver colours. Great value for money, reliable and long lasting and an ideal 1st clipless pedal for those getting into road riding.
The R540 pedal cleat is the standard 3 bolt pattern that has become the industry standard and so every modern road shoe is compatible.
