Mavic Aksium wheels

The Aksium is Mavic's entry level wheel-set. They are lightweight at only 1855gm per pair and yet are quite robust, but are still very reasonably priced at just $299 per pair.  The Aksium wheel-set will add to the value and performance of most bikes and can be expected to last for quite a while as they are built from great components. They have straight pull, stainless steel bladed spokes for added strength and reduced wind drag, alloy sealed bearing hubs which turn with minimal effort and tough Mavic rims. 

Aksium wheels are really good value for money and are an ideal wheel set for anyone who needs one pair of wheels to do all their riding on. Training, racing and general riding can all be handled without issue. 

Entry level at Mavic doesn't mean low end. This wheelset provides you with top Mavic technologies. Straight pull aerodynamic spokes, new versatile and lightweight rims, serviceable cartridge bearings… At a very attractive price, the Aksium will make any bike better.
