Shimano RT81 Road Touring Shoes.

The Shimano RT 81 touring shoe has all the features that makes it entirely suitable for commuters and other riders who want the same walkable cleat design of a MTB shoe, but with the support and light weight that a road shoe offers. Compatible with the SPD pedal style, the sole is recessed so that the cleat is housed within the sole. The sole has a thick rubber covering giving good support when walking but without the chunky heavy tread of a mountain bike shoe.   

Shimano's latest road style lightweight sport touring shoe with its sleek rubber sole and standard SPD cleat mounting system will make navigating city traffic, walking when necessary, commuting, and touring comfortable and safe.

  • Specially designed sleek looking full rubber sole with minimum tread helps to keep weight down, yet provides good grip on smooth surfaces (no more slipping in lobbies or tiles).
  • Additional recessed cleat design means safe effortless walking (unlike traditional road shoes)

  • EVA insole provides added support and comfort.
