Giant Upland Mountain Bike Special. I shall tell you about the bike next. First no steak knives.....but! most new cyclists require a few basic items to get them started, first is a decent helmet, that fits well and is light and well ventilated. A lock is always a good idea, so you can keep your new investment, and of course gloves, the contact points with the bike are your hands and bottom. On the Upland the seat is very soft and should serve the purpose well, the grips are soft, but gloves absorb much of the vibration and road shock, and provide great protection should you happen to tip over. There is also a pump, just to keep the tyres at their correct pressure. The retail value of these add-onsis $154.Now the bike, it is made of aluminium, which means it is light and rust free. The Shimano gears work very well, are simple to use, yet very precise in operation (read easy to use). The brakes are excellent and as I said before it has a comfortable saddle, to assist the fun part of this adventure. You can be confident that it is a good bike bike because we give 12 months free service, to ensure it gives plenty of riding pleasure.
