"Yes, we do lay-by", is the answer to an often asked question. We realise not everyone has an instant need for a purchase they have decided upon. It may simply be taking advantage of a special price we have offered or the securement of a fast selling model or a bit of good old fashioned planning ahead for a birthday or Christmas.

Our Lay -By terms are;-

At least 10% deposit, with the balance paid on a regular basis. These payments can be in person or via direct deposit. If direct deposit is chosen, make sure you state your customer reference number so that we can allocate the pament against your lay-by. 

The maximum layby period is 3 months. 

Through the year lay-by bikes will be kept at the store. They will be stored with the pedals removed and with the handlebars turned sideways. This helps us store more bikes in a given area and ensures that the bikes are not damaged by coming into contact with those stored adjacent. As the bike then requires a few minutes preperation prior to it being picked up, we ask that you contact us the day before pick up so we can straighten the bars, fit the pedals, pump the tyres and give it a clean so that when you arrive the bike is all set and ready to go. 

Christmas however is a different story in as much as due to the sheer number of bikes sold, many lay-by bikes will be stored off site. To save you the frustration of arriving at the shop to find your lay-by isn't there, we ask that during November, December and even January, you contact us 3 days in advance so that we can have your bike returned to the store and prepared in time for pick up. This 3 days notice is required as we will need to co-ordinate your bikes return with that of other customers as a seperate trip for each bike simply isn't possible.

Lay-By is a service we are happy to provide. There is no interest charged on lay-by purchases.
