Giant Mountain Bikes
Giant Mountain Bikes.
A Mountain Bike generally comes equipped with front suspension, reasonably knobby tyres and they can be ridden almost anywhere. Front suspension mountain bikes are called hardtails by some, meaning they do not have rear suspension. A mountain bike usually has an aluminium frame, with strong wheels fattish tyres with a knobby tread and a wide range of gears. The quality can range from very inexpensive to thousands of dollars, depending on your requirements. Some models have both male and female versions and all are available in a range of sizes to suit riders of a wide height range. In fact many taller children around 10 years of age are easily fitted to a 14" or 17" adult Mountain bike.
A Mountain bike with front suspension is a very versatile machine and although designed for off road riding, many are used as a commuter vehicle by suburban cyclists.
